On the fourth Wednesday of each month is Are You Ready to Export? featuring conversations with different members of the Washington Export Outreach Team (WEOT). For 2025, the focus will be Partners in Exporting: how WEOT agencies collaboratively work together along with other organizations to support Washington businesses to sell their goods and services internationally

Allan Peterson | International Trade Business Advisor, SBDC
Located at the office of Grant County Economic Development Council in Moses Lake, Allan services business located in King county and those counties in Eastern WA north of I-90. He is a Certified Global Business Professional.
Allan receive his BSBA degree in Business Administration from the University of North Dakota. He has 26 years of management experience in chain drugstore operations, was the founder of the Artisan Craft Distilling Institute, and has lead many outbound trade missions.
Christy Mastin | International Trade Business Advisor, SBDC
Located at the Tri-cities Development Council in Kennewick, Christy services all western counties except King County and eastern counties south of I-90. She is a Certified Global Business Professional.
Christy has a master’s degree in business administration and strategic planning, has almost ten years of experience in International trade working for a family owned business and about 17 years of lending experience with a focus on agribusiness.
Marco Albarrán Arozarena (WSDA)
Marco holds a Business Management Bachelor’s Degree with specialization in finance, supply chain and international business and a Diploma in Business Process Design for Strategic Management from MIT. He also was professor of International Logistics and Demand Planning for Supply Chain Graduate Programs in Mexico and the U.S.
Marco worked in supply chain and strategic planning in Multinational Corporations for ten years before joining the company and currently develops strategies for produce and Food & Beverage added value products in Latin America, assisting foreign companies to access and consolidate in these markets. He has been working for WSDA since 2008 and as a full time representative since 2019 in Mexico and Latin America.
Danny Kim (WSDA)
Danny is the CEO of Greenier International, a consulting company based in Seoul, South Korea. Since 2013, he has been working as the South Korea Representative of WSDA, focusing on connecting Washington State suppliers with Korean buyers. With more than 10 years of international business experience, Danny has created various success stories for Washington State businesses in the Korean market.
Danny’s available for both inbound and outbound projects, as well as consultations for new exports to Korea.

Washington Export Outreach Team (WEOT)
Washington Export Outreach Team (WEOT) is a collaborative team of local, state, regional, and federal export assistance agencies who provide you with the tools and resources needed to sell goods and services internationally. WEOT was formed in 2013 in response to a national mandate for Federal Government Agencies to work with local resources to provide a higher level of support for companies conducting business international trade.
About the Host
John Brislin is SBA's International Trade & Finance Specialist (Export Finance Manager) for Washington State, Northern Idaho and Alaska. He has over 23 years of private-sector international banking and trade finance experience working at Bank of Boston (Bank of America) and Bank of California (U.S. Bank). John has over 12 years of public-sector export trade finance and risk mitigation experience working at Export Finance Assistance Center of Washington (EFACW), Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM Bank) and SBA Office of International Trade (SBA OIT). He looks forward to working with Small Businesses so they can turn their export opportunities into actual sales and to achieve the ultimate goal of getting paid—especially on time—for those sales.
