From the spirialing city of Burnaby, BC, indie-R&B sensation Jordel is an emerging force in the genre-bending world. Crafting his unique sound entirely from his bedroom studio, Jordel combines eclectic and eccentric influences to create an innovative musical experience that resonates with listeners worldwide. His journey to becoming began when his breakout record “LaSenza” caught the attention of Spotify curators, landing him on many coveted editorial playlists such as ‘Mood Ring’, ‘Fresh Finds’, and ‘Ones-to-Watch’ playlists to name a few.

Since then, Jordel has captured the hearts of fans with his soulful vocal melodies, innovative production and introspective lyrics and has already made waves in the live music scene, selling out three consecutive shows in Vancouver back-to-back.

Jordel's motto being “You are Art” his goal is to make an impact on freedom and individuality through his universe

My passion for music began in childhood, nurtured by my mother's unwavering support. I actively participated in theater, church choirs, singing competitions, acting classes, and dance groups. However, during high school, I took an artistic hiatus. It was upon returning to my church community that my voice truly found its home. Surrounded by a supportive environment, I explored the transformative power of music as a space for meditation, reflection, and healing.
In January 2021, I released my debut single, "Moment," which resonated deeply with my Filipino community, friends, family, and a growing audience. Since then, my artistic journey has accelerated. Following "Moment," I've released 10 singles, with half coming out in 2023 alone. Additionally, 2022 saw the release of my six-track EP, "Babygirl."
Vancouver plays a pivotal role in my music. The city's vibrant scene fosters creativity, and I'm proud to say my production, engineering, and recording are all done locally. As a seasoned performer, I've connected with audiences on a deeper level. From selling out a 200-person show at the Fortune Sound Club to opening for Eric Bellinger at the Rickshaw Theater, I've honed my stage presence across nearly 20 paid sets. My diverse performance history includes events like What's the Move, Ms. Vancouver Pageant, Plug Vancouver, and Gallery. Most recently, I delivered a standout performance at Music BC's Let's Hear It Showcase.

Vancouver-based musician Cam Blake released his debut indie rock album (co-produced by Cam Blake and Sam Cutri of Perth, Australia) “Bad Vacation” on January 15, 2021 (Adagio Music/The Orchard). Cam toured Canada in support of the album and has played a number of festivals and showcases including the Barnside Harvest Festival, Khatsahlano Street Party 2023 and Kingfisher Bluez 15th & 16th Annual Christmas Party (opening for Peach Pit) in front of a sold out Rickshaw Theatre (2022) & Commodore Ballroom (2023). Cam Blake has now released his sophomore album 'SATISFACTION OF SAMENESS’ - an indie electronic record with elements of hyper-pop and industrial on May 3rd 2024 under Adagio Music Inc. (digital) & Kingfisher Bluez (physical).

Hailing from Vancouver, this Filipino-Canadian cowpunk artist draws inspiration from outlaw legends like Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, and Johnny Cash to bring you a high-energy blend of country and bluegrass. With fast picking and a high lonesome sound, Janky Bungag is sure to get the dance floor hopping.

Slightest Clue is a Vancouver-based four-piece that probably shouldn’t work. Each member brings distinct influences and experiences: a stage actor whose playlists go from Talking Heads to Sonic Youth to Björk, a hook-obsessed recovering choir girl, an electrical engineer whose personal idol is John Bonham, and a guitarist who played for (and left) ten other bands before deciding this was the one for him. It’s like the secret after-school project of four kids who would have passed each other without a glance in the hallway at school - but once they’re plugged in and ready to play their distinct blend of post-punk, alternative rock, and dark pop, all bets are off. It wasn’t supposed to work, but it does, and they don’t have the slightest clue how or why.
