Come one, come all and enjoy our WEEKDEND Brunch Hours event with Tallahassee's Silent Book Club.
Held at the North Flora Collective! We will meet in their indoor space meant specifically for events, granted there is also an outdoor space if anyone prefers to be surrounded by the plants.
Timeline will be as follows:
11:00-11:30 AM Arrive. You can find a place to put your things down, then go place your order at the counter or pick out a plant. Then use this time to meet and chit-chat with others if you wish to be social.
(If you do not wish to chat, you're more than welcome to just start reading!!!)
11:30 AM I announce the SILENT Book Reading session will commence until 12:30 PM.
At 12:30 PM, I will let you know the SILENT time is up.
*North Flora Collective is so graciously opening up on a Sunday for our event only, so please keep that in mind and do not loiter too long after the event ends. By all means check out the plants and drinks again before heading off, as we are trying to thank them for their space & time.*
COMMON COURTESY GUIDELINES:
1. I ask that you please buy at least one thing from our host venue. However, if you really do not wish to buy a drink or snack, please be kind and donate at least $1.00 to their tip jar for their willingness for allowing us to take up their space.
2. During the Silent Reading Session, please keep socializing to a minimum. If you need to talk or say something to someone, please compare your voice levels to how you would talk in the library. Be considerate of those around you.
3. After the event is over you may stay if you wish for a short time (this location is usually closed on Sundays and is specially opening up for our event, so we need to respect that). As mentioned previously, you may leave any time before as well. You do not need to say goodbye or anything either. We won't be offended and you're always welcome back.
