About this Event
April Kollab welcomes the magical Worthing storyteller Amelia Ace Armande, and the brilliant band Sock Drawer - a duo of two past performers Michael Baker and Ebony Grace.
Plus there's a Shoreham Sitar Surprise in store and some new and familiar acts lining up to share their music, words and more.
The Mic will be Open as usual, for poems, stories, songs, dances or anything else you'd like to share. New pieces and collaborations especially welcome. Please email [email protected] to request a slot.
There's no bar, so please bring your own drinks, hot or cold, alcohol or otherwise.
*We'll start promptly at 7pm*
Looking forward to seeing you,
Katrina x

Amelia Ace Armande is sparky, magic, and secretly several goblins stacked on top of each other in a long coat. They create work about death and rebirth, transformation, and queer experience. They are a storytelling mentor for the Step Up Commission, a regional finalist for Hammer & Tongue, and co-host of the Ropetackle Storytellers (performing Jekyll & Hyde this April).
KOLLAB FEEDBACK
"Wanted to say thank you for a really lovely open mic last night. This morning was the first time I have woken up feeling joyful without and dread dreams in the night for about two weeks. You created a really safe space and welcoming event. Loved your poems and they way you perform them is so engaging and absorbing. Marvellous. Thank you"
