About this Event
Doug Horner is the Founder and CEO of Medical Informatics Engineering (MIE), a Fort Wayne–based healthcare technology company focused on improving how medical information is shared and used. Since founding the company in 1995, Horner has helped pioneer web-based health information systems that support physicians, hospitals, employers, and government organizations around the world.
Under his leadership, Medical Informatics Engineering has grown into an innovator in electronic health records, occupational health technology, and patient engagement platforms.
Beyond his work in technology, Horner is also active in the Fort Wayne community, contributing to local initiatives and advisory boards focused on education and workforce development. A previous 40 Under Forty, he is an advocate for STEM in K-12 schools and colleges.
Join us on April 10 to hear his insights on building a company and his role in leadership in work and the community. Come to First Fridays to learn something new and meet someone new.
