Fuyuko Irie is a freelance proofreader in her thirties. Living alone, and unable to form meaningful relationships, she has little contact with anyone other than Hijiri, someone she works with. The Book Hive is a new women's book club based in Manchester that champions books by underrepresented authors. Think Bolu Babalola and Cecile Pin - we meet up for monthly book picks, books swaps and much more.
Founded by two women in their early 30s - we can't wait to meet like-minded readers who are looking for a safe space to share their passion for reading.
