About this Event
Mental health professionals are responsible for maintaining professional boundaries and relationships in clinical practice. While the prevention of some boundary violations may seem clear, there are countless aspects of managing professional boundaries that are nuanced that all clinicians face across their professional career.
This training will guide attendees through a framework for ethical-decision making to be applied to a range of professional boundary questions that can arise in a typical clinical practice. The presenter will also describe prevention and remediation strategies related to boundaries and professional relationships. Finally, attendees will be provided an opportunity to review their own clinical practice to apply the material toward practical, management efforts.
