Suicide can affect anyone, and many people are not sure of what to say or do when someone might be at risk.
Participants will:
- Build confidence to ask directly about suicide
- Listen with empathy and without judgment
- Explore personal attitudes and beliefs that affect your ability to help
- Create a collaborative Safety Plan to help someone stay safe for now
- Connect individuals to further care and ongoing support.
In more than 30 countries, millions of individuals have been trained in LivingWorks ASIST to recognize the signs of suicide, offer compassion, support, and connect people to safety.
