About the Wineries

Cantine I Vini di Maremma (Tuscany)
Founded in 1954 by a small group of growers, this historic cooperative is among the first established in the Maremma area. Over time, it has grown into one of the most important wine realities of the region, now counting around 230 members. Its development has been driven by continuous education, advanced agronomic practices, and the refinement of winemaking techniques. The winery remains deeply connected to its roots, combining tradition with a strong commitment to environmental sustainability. Its production includes both native and international grape varieties, reflecting the diversity and richness of the Tuscan territory.

Cantine Briziarelli (Umbria)
The origins of the Briziarelli family date back to the early twentieth century, when Pio Briziarelli began investing in agriculture in the Umbrian countryside. In 2000, the family launched a new winemaking project in the Montefalco area, giving rise to Cantine Briziarelli. Guided by the philosophy that “wine is the soil turning into poetry,” the winery follows a thoughtful approach based on listening, to both the land and the consumer. Avoiding extreme winemaking techniques, the focus is on elegance, clarity, and drinkability. This philosophy is reflected not only in the wines but also in the winery itself, where modern architectural design blends harmoniously with the surrounding environment.

What does aperitivo italiano really mean?
An aperitivo (or apéritif) is often described as being similar to the American happy hour, but in reality, it’s so much more than that. An aperitivo is a ritual, joyous and mood-lifting. It relaxes you after a day of work and prepares you for the night to come. The aperitivo has long been a staple in Italy, and in recent years, has been gaining more appreciation around the world.
