ARTPUSH is dedicated to promoting and supporting artists by producing regular shows and exhibits, workshops, annual festivals in collaboration with community groups, organizations, and local businesses.
In its 28th year, Art of the African Diaspora continues to express and celebrate the creative achievements of artists of African descent. This year, over 150 artists showcase their work at Richmond Art Center, as well as in open studios and satellite exhibitions at different venues around the Bay Area.
The Fireside Lounge is a woman-owned bar located in Alameda, California, that opened its doors in 1942 and was voted Best of Alameda in 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2021 by Alameda Magazine.
Owner Sandy Russell has created a welcoming, fun, and inclusive space with a working fireplace and a beautiful original art deco bar. We have a little something for everyone. Join us for a dynamic mix of entertainment options including: open mic, trivia, live music, comedy, drag shows, curated art shows, performance art, board games, and more. Our products include 11 local craft beers on tap, 42 different cans and bottles in the cooler, and cocktails inspired by classic recipes, using fresh and local ingredients. Our experienced and friendly staff will help you select a draft or create your cocktail using our extensive selection of high-quality American craft spirits. And like our draft list, our art gallery changes frequently with most pieces available for purchase.
