About this Event
The Public Health Nursing Section has spent over one hundred years on Promoting and Protecting the Health of Populations. In the coming years, the PHN Section will continue to lead activities to discuss and enhance equity, diversity, and social justice throughout APHA and in our profession. This work supports our goals of developing and supporting a well-informed and capable public health nursing workforce and enhancing our value to improve population health. To further this important work, please consider supporting the Anti-Racism Pre-conference held prior to the American Public Health Association (APHA) Annual Meeting sponsored by the APHA Public Health Nursing (PHN) Section.
For the past nine years, the Public Health Nursing Section of the American Public Health Association has delivered a FREE annual pre-conference on practice, research, and policy responses to racism. The 10th Annual Anti-Racism Preconference will include a workshop and evening celebration on November 1, 2025. Please register for this exciting and interactive program. Please consider donating. Your generous donation makes it possible to offer this FREE pre-conference to all who wish to attend.
