The Dr. Ambedkar Society, University of Leeds is pleased to announce that registration for Anti-Caste Futures, a one-day public conference taking place on Saturday, 30 May 2026 at the University of Leeds, is now open.
Anti-Caste Futures brings together research, public discussion, and collective reflection on caste and its contemporary implications in the UK and beyond. The conference will feature research panels, public discussions, keynote sessions, and performances engaging with questions of caste, gender, law, discrimination, lived realities, and social justice.

The conference is free to attend; however, registration is mandatory for entry. Lunch and refreshments throughout the day will be provided free of charge for all registered participants.
For those who wish to attend the Conference Dinner and Performance in the evening, there will be an additional charge of £15, payable directly at the venue on the day of the event.
We kindly request all attendees to arrive by 9:00 AM, as registration will begin in the morning before the first session.
Please note that this is a public event and is open to everyone. You do not need to be a student at the University of Leeds or based in the UK to attend.
