Workshop in lino cutting with Nat Raisbeck-Brown-----
Join us for an easy, fun, and creative Lino printing workshop at the Laneway Art Space.
In November 2023 Nat was on a ship with 90 other women scientists. We spent three weeks in Antarctica, where I ran a Lino printing art project. It was amazing how many of these women thought they couldn’t draw or that they’re not artistic. Using simple drawing and carving techniques, they created something they thought was beautiful.
Come and learn this wonderful printing technique in the surrounds of the Polar Opposites exhibition.
You might learn something about penguins as well!
No experience or skills necessary.
This workshop is suitable for adults, teens and older children.
Cost is $10.

In November 2023, 90 international women from STEMM journeyed to Antarctica for a Homeward Bound Women in Science Leadership program. These women were selected for this transformative leadership initiative aimed at creating a network of 10,000 global decision makers to protect our planet and combat climate change.
