Antarctic Film Festival 2026 - North Island Tour - 23 March - 22 April

Journey to the most remote continent on Earth - Antarctica!

Tickets are sold through the NZ Antarctic Society website: https://antarcticsociety.org.nz/antarctic-film-festival/

The Antarctic Film Festival brings together stunning documentary footage, curated by award winning filmmaker Anthony Powell, that reveals the continent’s stark beauty, unforgiving conditions, climate change, and penguin antics with stories captured by inventive and funny entries from the Winter International Film Festival of Antarctica’s 48-Hour Challenge, an annual showcase of creativity and resilience from those who winter-over on the Ice.

Before the films, local speakers share their stories about the Antarctic region.
