Join us for a conversation with Rodeina Fouad, moderated by Sorcha Richardson, independent curator and consultant based in Cairo, with over twelve years’ experience at White Cube in London.
Rodeina Fouad is a leading Egyptian visual artist whose practice explores memory, place, and shifting social and political realities. Her work is presented in Anomaly, Continued, a cross-cultural exhibition developed between Cairo and Sweden, examining themes of disruption, transformation, and resilience.
The event follows a guided walk through the area and concludes at the exhibition, creating a dialogue between place, history, and contemporary artistic practice.
The discussion will be held in English, with friendly Arabic translation available if needed.
All artworks are available for purchase. Proceeds support the Sultan Foundation’s development initiatives in the Qaitbey neighbourhood.
The exhibition runs until 26 February. Entry is free.
