Clock that Tea - Financial Success Starts Now
Supporting Serving and Empowering Youth
The Sigma Annual Youth Symposium focuses on College and Career Readiness is a no-cost, community-based youth development initiative designed to increase college access, career preparedness, and post-secondary success for students in Kansas City Kansas Public Schools (KCKPS) and Kansas City Public Schools (KCPS). This program is in partnership with the Sigma Golden Rhoyalty Legacy Foundation.
The symposium intentionally serves students from historically underserved and underrepresented communities by removing financial barriers and providing equitable access to critical college and career readiness resources.
This annual symposium provides a structured, high-impact learning experience that supports students ages 12-18, with an emphasis on early exposure, informed decision-making, and long-term academic and workforce success. Through interactive workshops, expert-led panels, and mentorship opportunities, participants gain practical tools aligned with regional workforce needs and post-secondary pathways.
