Our annual free concert in Golden Gate Park is a celebration of Polish culture, song and dance. Join Łowiczanie and the Golden Gate Park Band for a concert celebrating the historic Polish democratic Constitution of 1791. It's a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon, enjoying the sunshine and watching a full concert featuring classical Polish orchestral arrangements and Polish folk dance and songs.Every year Łowiczanie and the Golden Gate Park Band come together to make a wonderful free concert for our community to enjoy Polish music and dance. For the first time ever Łowiczanie will dance to music played by the Golden Gate Park Band! Lowiczanie and our children's group, Sokoły will perform traditional songs and dances from different regions of Poland.
This year our concert serendipitously lands on the actual Polish Constitution Day, Trzeci Maj (the Third of May), which is a national Polish holiday comemorating the first modern written constitution in Europe that Poland signed into law on May 3rd, 1791.
