This event supports the John Hindmarsh Environmental Trust Fund, held with the Maitland Conservation Foundation. Over the years, the fund has helped support countless environmental projects in the Maitland watershed — without ever touching the original capital.
Many hikers already benefit from John Hindmarsh’s legacy. Several beloved trails exist because he donated his properties to the Maitland Conservation Authority, including:
