About this Event
The Goderich Mayor’s Luncheon, presented by Compass Minerals, is one of the most popular events on the local calendar, bringing together leaders from across the business and non-profit community for an afternoon of connection, community pride, and meaningful conversation. Hosted through the long-standing partnership between the Huron Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Goderich, the Luncheon is an opportunity to gather and celebrate the Town of Goderich while reflecting on issues that matter to the community’s future.
This year’s event will feature a new format. Rather than a keynote speech from Mayor Trevor Bazinet, the luncheon will centre on a moderated panel discussion led by the Mayor. Inspired by a theme of compassion, resilience, mental health awareness, and community support, the conversation will explore how leadership, collaboration, and inclusion can help build a healthier and more connected community.
Guests at the Luncheon will enjoy a buffet lunch prepared by Part II Bistro, featuring curried chicken with root vegetables and coconut cream, beef with mushroom, onion, squash and sweet potato in rich gravy, spinach and cheese cannelloni in tomato basil sauce, basmati rice with fresh herbs, green beans tossed in herb olive oil, pear salad with orange maple dressing, and carrot and sweet potato soup.
