
About this Event
Annie's Project is a three-week program connecting women with experts in production, fiscal management, human resources, marketing, and the legal aspects of establishing a business. During the three-week workshop, participants will have an opportunity to connect, share, and learn about women's empowerment, the dynamics of agriculture, and funding opportunities, and connect and grow with each other.

Topics to include:
Session 1 – Introduction and Overview – Estate Planning, need legal documentation – Farm Service Agency, Resources, Programs, Loans
Session 2 – Farm Insurance, Marketing your Business – Basic Financial, Documentation, Flow charts, Budgets, Savings
Session 3 – Cottage Law and Developing your Business. Each program will address one of the six risk areas identified by Annie’s Project.
Lunch will be provided during the workshops.
Entrepreneur Spotlight (A Woman Entrepreneur’s story of how she ended up in the business, challenges, rewards, and a question-and-answer period)
Engagement Activity – participants will interact with the content presented and discuss it with each other.
Community Organization – Have a professional or community service organization speak briefly about their services and how to join the groups if they want to increase their community involvement.
