About this Event
A little wooden box. A piece of string that confronts one of life's biggest mysteries. In Nikki Erlick’s The Measure, eight characters grapple with the weight of a profound revelation.
Leading our conversation is Anne Logan, who has worked in the non-profit sector for over 16 years as a festival programmer, fundraiser, and book reviewer. She has previously served on the boards of Calgary Reads and the Writers’ Guild of Alberta. In addition to reviewing books for CBC radio and television, her writing has appeared in Alberta Views, Quill & Quire, Write, and WestWord Magazine. She is currently Associate Director of Development at the Calgary Public Library Foundation. Anne brings a thoughtful, engaging perspective to conversations about literature and the human questions at its heart.
Big Book Club talks are 45-60 minutes with time afterwards for audience questions and discussion.
Coffee, tea and water will be provided.
