About this Event
Understanding Anger in Psychotherapy
Join us for an engaging in-person event all about understanding anger in psychotherapy!
This is a chance to reflect, share and compare attitudes and experience with fellow therapists in a confidential setting.
As a group we'll do a couple of exercises you might find helpful both in reflecting on personal experience, and when exploring anger with clients.
We intentionally keep our training groups small to allow for maximum comfort, engagement, and participation.
Facilitator Carole Hewitt qualified as a person centred counsellor in 2013 and has co-facilitated several anger management groups for clients at the counselling charity As You Are during her 10 years as a therapist with the organisation.
Testimonials:
It was a very interesting workshop and useful both for myself and when working with clients
This has already made such a difference to my work with clients - I now feel confident in exploring their anger and less scared
Carole is an excellent trainer - knowledgable, engaging and paced the training so well.I really enjoyed the experiential nature of the workshop and meeting the fellow participants.
I am keen to try and incorporate some of my learning into my clinical work, such as using images and objects as a way for clients to connect with their anger and explore their relationship with this powerful emotion
