Andy Smythe & Barry Ewing (Folk)Starts 8pm - Free Entry
Andy Smythe writes songs of hope and protest from the heart and has produced nine studio albums. He’s recently been described in Record Collector as writing ‘colourful classy pop songs’ and by SHINDIG as ‘an artist that transcends his influences with something important to say’. He performs on guitar and piano and has a signature four octave voice that has frequently been compared to Buckley and English mavericks such as Roy Harper.
Barry Ewing is a skilled interpreter of cult songs of 60’s and 70’s artists, he effortlessly re-arranges them on guitar and has a stunning high tenor/alto voice like Neil Young. He is also starting to introduce original songs into his performances with confidence and style.
For the evening’s entertainment, they will perform separately but also will unite for some duets! Not to be missed, two stunning voices and very unique performers!
