Join us for a night of intimate song from Ruth Webber and Andrew Metheven.Andrew Metheven is an alt-folk songwriter. He released his first EP, A Quiet Life, in March 2022, and his first album - Sister Winter - in June 2024, and has since performed at grassroots venues and festivals across Yorkshire. Still living in his native Bradford, his songs are about births, hills, loss, birds, daydreams... his live performances - characterised by his melodic guitar finger-picking - are unapologetically raw and unfiltered. https://andrewmetheven.co.uk/
Ruth Webber's music spans different themes, energies, and instruments. As a singer song-writer she likes to draw the listener into memories and moments, full of half-truths and misremembered events. Ruth released her debut EP 'Songs for my Father' in April 2024 with an ensemble of 11 musicians, and plays in several other projects that help to express the many moods of Ruth.
