Second Chance Comedy Presents: "We're All Doing Great" And Other Lies - A Standup Comedy Show about Life's Chaos is bringing a powerful lineup of comics tackling the messy, beautiful, and often hilarious realities of mental health, addiction, and being human.
This isn’t just a comedy show. It’s real stories, real struggles, and real healing told through the lens of stand-up. Whether you’ve dealt with anxiety, grief, recovery, or just the chaos of daily life, this night is for you.

Headliner: Christie Buchele – Christie Buchele is a Denver-based standup comic known for her sharp, honest take on life as a woman with a disability.
She’s been featured on Viceland, NBC, and Fox, and has performed at festivals like High Plains and Limestone. Christie has opened for comics like Marc Maron, David Cross, and Josh Blue, and also wrote and starred in the award-winning short Scary Lucy.
With a style that’s biting, self-aware, and a little irreverent, Christie consistently delivers comedy that’s both raw and genuinely funny.
Featuring: Von Sprecken – Von Sprecken is a nationally touring comedian passionate about mental health. He has been a part of the recovery community for over 10 years, and has extensive experience with the addiction and mental health crisis - as not only a patient and surviving family member, but also front-line healthcare worker. These days, Von has devoted his life to using humor to inspire, educate, and entertain audiences across the country. Von started doing comedy in Denver in 2017, and has made appearances in several of Denver's best comedy spots, including Comedy Works, and he was the winner of the Pop Culture Con Tournament of Laughs in 2019.
