About this Event

Join us for a full day of enriching conversation, workshops, food, networking and more.

Friday, April 24th - 9:30a.m. - 3:30p.m. with reception to follow.

About the Forum

Music plays a vital role in addressing the youth mental health crisis in Canada, offering a powerful avenue for connection, expression, and healing. Join us for the second iteration of SoundLife Scarborough’s community forum dedicated to music and youth well-being, where we continue to build on last year’s conversations and deepen our exploration of how music can support youth mental health.

On Friday, April 24, join us at the University of Toronto Scarborough for a full day of programming that brings together youth, educators, community partners, artists, and health professionals. Together, we will explore the intersections of music and youth mental health through the lenses of education, community, and industry.

The day will feature a dynamic panel discussion, interactive sessions, and opportunities for shared music-making and dialogue. Participants will engage with initiatives already making a difference while identifying opportunities for deeper collaboration and impact across sectors.

Building on the momentum of our previous forum, this gathering centers youth voices and lived experiences while fostering meaningful connections between communities, practitioners, and researchers.
