About this Event
The Strand - Steam Train - Sunday 29th March 2026.
Join us on board for a fun day out on the rails on board our heritage carriages hauled by our recently restored steam locomotive No. 171 Slieve Gullion, as we travel from Wexford Town to either Rosslare Strand or Rosslare Europort.
The route to Wexford will take us along the famous Wexford Quay line right through the Town. We will then press on to Rosslare Strand. You can alight at Rosslare Strand for the beach and town or continue on to the very end of the line at Rosslare Europort.
Timings are as follows:

We have a snack car on board and for the adults a full bar serving draught Guinness and selection of beers, wines, prosecco, spirits and much more. Great craic is guaranteed. Bring your friends and family along for a fun Sunday day out!

Tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE once purchased.
If travelling as part of a group - you MUST make one booking to be seated together. Seating requests cannot be made after.
You will receive your tickets by email as soon as your booking goes through. These are you tickets which you must print off for inspection on the day.
Seating allocations will be emailed, no later than 3 days before departure. Please check your emails.
Children aged 2 and under can travel free of charge on their parent's lap.
Child Tickets are valid for 3 - 18 year old's inclusive.
