Chris Clay has been an average white guy living in Seattle all his life until now. When an opportunity to help African Descendants of Slaves purchase their first home arises, he scours his family tree for his last "Black" Ancestor. He finds Lucy Clay, a Black woman passing for white in the post-Civil War South, and he embarks on a reckless mission to claim his Blackness.

- This show is recommended for ages 14 & up and includes racially demeaning language and use of the N-word as well as violence against women.
