"Princess Mononoke" Film Viewing & Discussion

Join us for an in-person screening & discussion of the iconic anime film, "Princess Mononoke!" Professors Deanna Kitamura & Robert Gilmer will offer brief talk focusing on how the film explores themes related to medieval Japanese history and environmentalism. Join us in viewing the 1997 Studio Ghibli masterpiece by Hayao Miyazaki and learning about the indigenous people and landscape in the Land of the Rising Sun.
