About Person Place Thing:
Hosted by Emmy Award–winning writer and broadcaster Randy Cohen, Person Place Thing is an interview show built on the idea that people are most compelling when they speak not directly about themselves, but about something they care deeply about.
Each guest shares stories about one person, one place, and one thing that hold particular meaning to them — and the results are surprising, thoughtful, and often very funny.
Randy Cohen’s work has appeared in The New Yorker, Harper’s, and The Atlantic. He wrote for Late Night with David Letterman, earning three Emmy Awards, and later wrote “The Ethicist” column for The New York Times Magazine for twelve years.
This live recording offers a rare opportunity to hear AMC’s leadership share personal stories and perspectives in a format that is candid, unexpected, and deeply human.
We hope you’ll join us for what promises to be a memorable evening of storytelling and conversation.
