About this Event
"Ky Nam Inn" Film Screening and Discussion
Saigon, 1985. Khang, a young translator rising through the ranks of Vietnam's new regime, is tasked with translating The Little Prince. His life is set. But everything changes when he meets Ky Nam, the reserved widow next door. A relic of the defeated South, she lives quietly, cooking meals for a living and carrying the weight of unspoken grief.
When an accident leaves her temporarily unable to work, Khang offers to help. What begins as an act of kindness slowly deepens into something far more powerful.
But in a world governed by duty, desire can be dangerous, and not every connection is allowed to last....
