About this Event

Beauty Beyond the Scars presents the "I Survived It" Walk-a-thon Car & Bike Expo2024 on Saturday October 12th,2024 to bring awareness against Domestic Violence. This year will be very monumental because we will be celebrating our 5th year of walking for Purpose-Life- & Change.Domestic Violence is on the rise and our goal as an organization is to not only heighten awareness, but to do our best to bring about change.

Our goal is to have 100 plus participants to walk with us in purple joining in our fight against Domestic Violence. We will be remembering and honoring our "fallen angels" who lost their lives to Domestic Violence and celebrating those who survived.We have included a Car and Bike Expo where you will be able to take a look at some of the hottest cars and bikes in our city.. We will meet in the lot of the Raleigh Civic Center and walk a 5K around the walking trail in unity bringing awareness to Domestic Violence.I f you are not able to walk the 5K we still want you to register and still come out and join us. There will be seating and activities for you to enjoy.

We will have Awe-mazing vendors, delicious food trucks, live music, games for the kids, information about Domestic Violence, and so much more. This will be fun for the entire family. Load up the cars, vans, and buses and come on out.This will be a day of honoring, remembering, and celebrating. We want to see you there!

Attire: We ask that you purple it out... Wear purple (clothes, hair, shoes, etc.)

We will have event t-shirts on site for purchase as well.
