Food Beyond Terroir - book launch and wine reception
Come join us in the DLT lecture theatre at SOAS University of London to celebrate the launch of the book 'Food Beyond Terroir’. Hosted by the SOAS Food Studies Centre, the event will include an introduction to the book by its editors, Anna Colquhoun and Katharina Graf, short talks by esteemed food anthropologists David Sutton and Melissa Caldwell, and a wine reception. Join us to meet many of the book’s contributors, discuss how the relationships between taste and place go far beyond the idea of terroir, and mingle with fellow food studies enthusiasts over food and drink. The event is free but advance registration is required.
