Waverley Care is delighted to invite you to one of our most popular fundraising events – COME AND SING - which returns to Edinburgh’s iconic Parish Church of St Cuthbert on Saturday 25 January 2025, featuring Carl Orff’s iconic Carmina Burana. We invite you to be part of an exhilarating musical experience where we unite singers and music enthusiasts from all over Scotland and beyond, for a day dedicated to this powerful masterpiece.
Led by Stephen Doughty, Chorus Director of the RSNO, the performance will also feature exceptional soloists Anna Marmion (Soprano), Christian Schneeberger (Tenor), and Phil Gault (Bass), with Stuart Hope on piano and David Goodenough on organ.
You will spend the day learning the piece with the support of Stephen and his musicians and we will culminate in a very special concert which will be open to the public at 4pm, featuring YOU!
Open to all voices and abilities, whether you're familiar with Carmina Burana or eager to dive into its dynamic choruses for the first time, you will be made very welcome. Join us at the beautiful St Cuthbert's to experience the drama, intensity, and joy of this legendary work in support of Waverley Care.
