About this Event
Just in time for Galentine’s Day, Harmony 3 explores unexpected chemistry across time periods and musical genres, featuring the phenomenal cellist Tamar Sagiv.
Music by women composers takes center stage, including world premieres of new works by Tamar herself and Inbal Segev. We'll also introduce you to overlooked female voices from the past, such as the Parisian Fernande Decruck and Maria Theresia von Paradis— known as The Blind Enchantress and a friend and colleague of both Mozart and Haydn.
The evening also features classic works by Telemann, Bloch, and Georges Auric—the composer of Roman Holiday—a world premiere by jazz pianist Vahagn Hayrapetyan, and an original arrangement of “My Funny Valentine.”
You won’t hear this program anywhere else. We know you’ll share our Cello Crush!
About Tamar Sagiv
