Threads Reimagined NYFW 2026: “Perceptions” (Vol. III) by Elias Gurrola

Perceptions is a Threads Reimagined feature spotlighting designer Elias Gurrola, whose work centers self‑love, body inclusivity, and unapologetic expression. Built from SAS Project’s ethic of upcycled materials and community‑powered fashion, Perceptions reframes the runway as a place for gender affirmation, environmental responsibility and dignified creative labor.

This multidisciplinary performance is part fashion show, part dance piece and part storytelling. Told in four parts, the show explores the ways we experience reality and the feelings we all have but don’t always talk about.

Doors open at 6:30 PM for a meet‑and‑greet and cocktail hour with a LUSH Cosmetics immersive activation. At 7:30 PM, the lights drop and the four‑part fashion production begins, featuring live music and dance performances that bring the collection to life.

Presented by Sisters Affirming Sisterhood Project, this event embodies our threefold mission: gender affirmation, environmental justice, and worker’s rights.
