About this Event
Music and storytelling through curated intimate performances
Welcome back to our series 'Acoustic Music' - showcasing intimate sets from some of the most innovative musicians working in London, and performed onboard our 113 year old cargo ship.
While the sets are now amplified, the spirit remains unchanged: raw, stripped-back, and deeply personal. Curated by musician Vincent Curson-Smith.
Yorick is a collaboration between singer/songwriter Tom Griffiths and three contemporary jazz musicians: Matt Cook (sax), John Jones (bass) and Ben Limmer (drums). Influences include Joni Mitchell, Scott Walker and Neil Young. They will release their debut album in 2026.
Jack Weeks has been writing music with his older brother Josh from a young age, honing his craft in various guises on the circuit in south Wales before moving to London.
Still sharing songwriting duties (Josh pens the lyrics), he now performs as a solo act, blending a folk acoustic sound with hints of soul and chamber pop, which has already piqued the interest of BBC Radio Wales.
He’s currently recording his debut EP.
