About the Author
Charles Dickens is the author of many novels and serial works including The Pickwick Papers, Oliver Twist, Dombey and Son, Bleak House, and David Copperfield. A Christmas Carol was published in 1843, sold out its first print run, and was reviewed favorably in the London Illustrated News, the Athenaeum and the Belfast Commercial Chronicle. He began performing A Christmas Carol in December 1853 and has given more than 100 performances. He resides in London, England.
