Anchored in Freedom: An Independence Day Celebration is coming to Liberty Station in honor of America’s 250th birthday and the U.S. Navy’s lasting legacy on these historic grounds.In partnership with Love Thy Neighborhood, the team behind the OB Holiday Parade, the celebration will feature a patriotic parade filled with themed floats highlighting freedom, service, and community. The day will also include live performances from the Navy Band Southwest, a wing-eating contest, a costume contest, and kids' activities for all ages.
As a centerpiece of the semiquincentennial year, the event blends national pride, remembrance, and connection in a setting rooted in history.
