About this Event
Join Chef Kathryne Bennett for an evening celebrating the cuisine of Trentino-Alto Adige, the alpine region where northern Italy meets Austria. Nestled among the dramatic peaks of the Dolomites, the region blends Italian and German-speaking traditions, producing a cuisine that is rustic, comforting, and deeply tied to mountain life.
This four-course dinner explores those alpine flavors through dishes such as speck dumplings, whole-grain spätzle, roasted chicken with beer, and baked apples inspired by the cooking of South Tyrol. Along the way, you’ll taste ingredients rooted in the region’s pastoral traditions — from mountain dairy and orchard fruit to hearty grains and smoked meats.
An intimate evening of regional cooking, shared family-style, inspired by one of Italy’s most distinctive culinary landscapes.
