Sarit Packer and Itamar Srulovich built Honey & Co. from a single London restaurant into a mini culinary empire—and now they’re making the trek to Boston to share recipes and stories with us from their newest book, “Honey & Co. Daily.” At this hands-on class led by Sarit and Itamar, you’ll cook, eat and learn their style of cooking, which playfully refracts their Yemeni and Israeli heritage through a British lens.
The night begins with a welcome snack: summery, refreshing radish and cucumber salad atop warmed toasts. Then the work begins. Sarit and Itamar will demonstrate their recipe for chicken, cashew and mango salad, a dish that balances a fragrant spice rub, lime-and-honey-roasted nuts and ripe fruit with practiced ease. Then, with Sarit and Itamar leading you through each step, you'll take over the kitchen in small groups to make a warm grape and white bean salad finished with fried manouri or halloumi cheese, which is one of their favorite recipes from the new book. And for good reason: it's a quintessential example of how they take unfussy, nothing-fancy ingredients and turn them into dishes with a rainbow of color and tons of texture.
As you enjoy a family-style dinner that includes the dishes you’ve made plus a batch of their beloved “dirty” rice and lots of warm flatbread and good olive oil, you’ll get to hear more from Sarit and Itamar about their restaurant journey and the stories behind the new book. The meal closes with an olive oil and dark chocolate mousse made to be scooped up with an oat-and-walnut cookie—and time to have your copy of “Honey & Co. Daily,” which is included with your ticket, signed. This is an evening of genuine cooking, good company and food that earns its place at the table.
About Sarit and Itamar: Itamar Srulovich and Sarit Packer opened their first Middle Eastern-inspired restaurant, Honey & Co. in 2012. They have since added a deli, Honey & Spice, a grill house, Honey & Smoke, and now Honey & Co. Daily, a deli, bakery and café. They have an events space Honey & Co. Studio and host Honey & Co: The Food Sessions that are later turned into a podcast, interviewing influential guests from the food and drink industry. They have a recipe column in the FT Weekend magazine. Their first cookbook, “Honey & Co The Cookbook” (2015) was named Cookbook of the Year by The Sunday Times, and was the Fortnum & Mason Food & Drink Awards Cookery Book of the Year, and won the The Guild of Food Writer’s Award Winner for Best First Book. “Honey & Co Daily,” out in May 2026, is their most recent book.
