The Musical Mountaineers: Together, pianist Rose Freeman and violinist Anastasia Allison carry their instruments deep into the mountains to play unannounced serenades for no audience, except an occasional marmot and the Cascade Mountains. The pair has performed at over 40 unique wilderness locations and has performed at Benaroya Hall in Seattle to benefit the Washington National Parks Fund.

Anastasia Allison, violin, is the founder of a gear company called Kula Cloth ® , which makes the very first antimicrobial pee cloth for all the places you 'go'. Kula Cloth started in her guest bedroom and has rapidly grown into a standard piece of gear that is used by hundreds of thousands of humans from all over the globe. In addition to running a gear company and performing music, Anastasia lives in a cabin on a lake with her husband Aaron and they enjoy spending their time together riding motorcycles and hiking and backpacking. They have 3 grey cats.

Rose Freeman, piano, is a Nationally Certified Piano Teacher of Music who offers classical, composition, pedagogy, and collaborative piano lessons from her home studio in Bothell. Rose invites her students on a personal, intuitive, and creative journey with an approach that fosters connection to their own hearts and the world around them. She delights in the opportunity to teach a well-rounded music education in a way that equips students to arrive at the piano with curiosity, courage, and freedom. When she’s not teaching, she enjoys rollerblading on local trails and being in the forest!
