After a run of indie releases and steady momentum in the Atlanta scene, Shawn Mullins broke through with 1998’s Soul’s Core, powered by the Grammy-nominated No. 1 hit “Lullaby.” He followed with the AAA/Americana No. 1 “Beautiful Wreck” and continued building a catalog that has crossed into film, television, and country radio — including placements on Dawson’s Creek and Scrubs, and a co-write on Zac Brown Band’s No. 1 single “Toes.”To mark the 20th anniversary of Soul’s Core, Mullins revisited the album with Soul’s Core Revival — brand-new recordings featuring stripped-down solo arrangements and full-band versions with Soul Carnival.
Now, he brings this chapter of his career to Ludlow Garage.
Opening the show is Cat Ridgeway, an Orlando-based performer known for soulful vocals, high energy, and a magnetic stage presence. A multi-year winner of Orlando’s Best Rock Act and Best Singer/Songwriter, she has shared stages with artists including Hozier and Arcade Fire.
