How Music Saved My LifeWe are honoured to be hosting an extraordinary evening of music with Antimo Magnotta, Italian pianist, composer, and recording artist.
Antimo Magnotta is a survivor of the Costa Concordia shipwreck, he has spent years transforming one of the most dramatic maritime disasters of our time into an intimate artistic journey. His concert 'How Music Changed My Life' is not a retelling of the event itself, but a musical exploration of what remains after catastrophe: memory, silence, fear and the fragile return to hope.
The evening will open with a short piano set by Dr Esther Rivas-Androver, whose original compositions gently prepare the atmosphere. Antimo's performance will then unfold through original piano works interwoven with brief spoken reflections and readings from his book of the same title.
This is not a conventional concert, but a shared experience - one that invites the listener to slow down, listen deeply, and reflect on the power of music to hold, heal, and transform human experience.
Following the performance, guests are invited to remain for a short Q&A session, offering an opportunity for dialogue and reflection.
Experience his visionary and elegant soundscapes — music that deeply expresses the journey of a soul who has discovered a profound understanding of life, emotion, and beauty.
An unforgettable night of inspiration, reflection, and connection, Supported by Dr. Esther Rivas-Adrover Silver
