At 23, Frank debuted off-Broadway in "Groucho: A Life in Revue" earning New York's Theatre World Award and an Outer Critics Circle nomination. A London West End production and Laurence Olivier Award nomination followed. At Philadelphia's historic Walnut Street Theatre, Frank directed and played Pseudolus in "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum" (Wall Street Journal top ten performance.) He directed the world premiere of "Old Wicked Songs" which became a Pulitzer finalist. For over 20 years, Frank hosted cirque/cabaret shows in Seattle, San Francisco and Amsterdam and was picked as a top ten performance by the Chicago Tribune. He can be heard on "SpongeBob SquarePants" and seen as a talking mime on Emmy-winning "Childrens Hospital." His one-man "Frank Ferrante's Groucho," which you are watching tonight, currently airs on PBS television.
