About this Event
You’re warmly invited to the Edmonton & District Historical Society’s Annual General Meeting, an evening that brings together community, history, and music.
The evening begins with dinner and social time, followed by a lively performance from the Grove City Chorus, celebrating the rich tradition of four-part a cappella harmony.
We’ll also explore the history of barbershop harmony in Edmonton, tracing its roots from early performances in the 1950s to its continued presence in the city’s musical landscape today. This engaging presentation highlights how this unique musical style has brought people together across generations.
The evening will conclude with the official EDHS Annual General Meeting, where members will receive updates on the Society’s activities and plans for the year ahead.
