An inspiring local woman, Ms. Tran Thao, who has worked tirelessly for many years to help poor remote communities in Quang Nam, has had a very serious motorycle accident.It appears this was a hit and run by a foreigner, and as a result Ms Thao has suffered several traumatic injuries, with major surgical treatment required.
Thao is not a wealthy person, and is in dire straits with the financial burden on her and her family.
As a business group in Hoi An that is active is supporting local charities and responses to natural disasters, we propose to raise money by holding a Bar Crawl in An Bang village on Friday 17th April alongside a raffle, with prizes generously donated by the businesses of Hoi An.

- Her medical bills have reached almost VND 50 million
- The treatment continues to cost about 1 mil/day.
- Future costs are unnkown but she says it could be anything between 20 and 40 mil, maybe more.
- Her phone and her bike are severely damaged.
- She won't be able to work for at least 4 months because she can't walk properly.
- It will take her about 2 months just to relearn how to walk.
- She's almost out of money and is worried that she has to leave the hospital early and can't recover properly.
