Please join us in **Concord, MA** at the Scout House for an afternoon workshop of beautiful Advanced English Country Dancing! Margaret Bary will lead an afternoon of challenging English dances to music provided by the wonderful band Alchemy, which is comprised of Karen Axelrod, Rachel Bell, and Eric Martin. The event's hours are 1:30-4:30pm.Please note: the Workshop is designed for dancers who have complete familiarity with dance figures and are able to respond quickly to instructions, and will involve dance instruction that assumes both of these to be true. Dances will be taught using a mix of gendered and non-gendered terms.
Admission is $15 for members of CDS-Boston; $20 for non-members; sliding scale of $5-25. Please visit https://www.cds-boston.org for full information. No pre-registration required.
Don't forget to come back later this evening for the evening dance from 7:30-10:30pm, which is also open to advanced English country dancers! Please note: the hall will be open and available between the two dances for those who would like to eat dinner between the events.
