About this Event
America Loves Corvette: A Valentine to the People's Sports Car Demo Day & Exhibit Opening | February 14
Some cars transcend metal and machinery. The Chevrolet Corvette is one of them.
This Valentine's Day, we're celebrating America's seven-decade love affair with its sports car. The day features a special Demo Day on our 3.5 acre tarmac and the opening of a new exhibit showcasing two dozen Corvettes spanning all generations, curated from submissions by enthusiasts.
Demo Day begins at 11:30 AM with scrutineering of two legendary race Corvettes: the 1963 Grand Sport, built to battle Ferrari at Le Mans, and the raw 427-cubic-inch fury of the 1966 Stingray. Watch the technical inspection, hear the presentation, then see these machines roar to life on the tarmac. Demo Day runs through 2:00 PM.
Inside, the America Loves Corvette exhibit tells the complete story. From C1 to C8, from street cars to race cars, from movie screens to suburban driveways, two dozen carefully curated Corvettes explore why this car captured the American imagination like no other.
The Corvette proved that performance doesn't require a trust fund. That style matters as much as speed. That the pursuit of better never stops. It became America's sports car because it was ours: accessible, attainable, and unapologetically bold.
Featured Demo Cars:
- 1963 Corvette Grand Sport
- 1966 Corvette 427 Stingray
