About this Event
Midwest heartbreak, basements that smell like dust and spilled beer.. we're revisiting the bittersweet highschool twinkle daddies of yore!!
Join us for a pride-themed emo night orbiting the sounds of American Football and early 2000s mathy melancholy. A little embarrassing, a little holy.
This is a space to be earnest! To sing too quietly or too loudly, to lean into the feeling!
While the city floods with World Cup energy that same night, we're offering a safe space in direct contrast to the crowds. Community and music have always existed as a sort of protest. Queer emo provides a little refusal, ~wrapped in reverb~
• American Football, Cap’n Jazz, You Blew It!, The World Is A Beautiful Place & I Am No Long Afraid To Die, Adult Mom, The Promise Ring, and more
• Low-lit, intimate atmosphere
